The second edition of test data (edition 2.0) from supplementary questionnaire for ESS round 5 was released on January 24th, 2013. Edition 2.0 is available on the ESS5 - 2010 Data Download page, and the only change from edition 1.0 is that data for Lithuania has been added to the data set, taking the total number of countries included in the integrated test data file to 26. Sample design data files (SDDF) are available in SAS and SPSS format, along with a PDF file describing the structure and use of the SDDFs. The files are available from the ESS5 - 2010 Data download section for the following countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine. The second edition of contact form data for ESS5 was released 14.01.13. In addition to some minor changes to the Slovenian and UK country data, The Czech Republic, Ireland and Lithuania have been added to the list of countries included in edition 1.0, bringing the total number of countries in the integrated ESS5 contact form data file to 26. The design weight for France in ESS round 1 has erroneously been set to 1 for all respondents. A new file containing the corrected variable DWEIGHT for France has been made available from the ESS1 Data download section.
